As the team keeps growing, there is this intense cycle of taking over a new task I have no clue about. Getting good at it by picking up a few books, seeking advice from experts but mostly learning-by—doing, then onboard a new team member just to start something else I have no clue about. REPEAT. Intense but I love it. Never had such a steep learning curve.
The thrill of building a startup is in seeing team, culture, people, product, business grow all at the same time and at an amazing pace. Gaining new insights, discussing and deciding, making changes today then seeing results tomorrow is an intense experience. The immediate and direct feedback is the source of transformational learning and is an immense reward in itself. Can't get enough!
The way we collaborate at Fairwalter helps us to improve our product. As we have cross-functional teams and flat hierarchies, communication is super straightforward and the best idea - often a team effort - wins. There are lots of opportunities for fast growth and personal development !
